Ice Jams Damage Villages in Alaska
 More than 40 villiages along the Yukon River
experienced flooding and significate home loses
during an early May thaw. Temperatures over 70 degrees
caused the ice on the river break up faster than normal.
NPR describes the event:
Your help is needed. Volunteers should be able to
commit for 2-3 weeks, but one week stays will be considered.
Must be over 18.
