If you choose to join us, admission to the indoor lush gardens is included in your dinner ticket, along with outdoor entertainment. Children’s Zoo – Visit one of the nation’s top ten zoos for kids. Enjoy family friendly fun across 38 acres and over 1,000 animals. Located 3 miles from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

DeBrand Fine Chocolate Tour – Visit their beautiful corporate headquarters to see their chocolatiers in action. You’ll see the artisan process involved in making their coveted chocolates along with tasting several gourmet chocolate samples. Located 8 miles from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Embassy Theatre – Built in 1928 as a movie palace and vaudeville house, this majestic building now hosts national productions from the Broadway stage, concerts of all musical formats, cinema and educational programming. Located across the street from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Genealogy Center – Did you know that Fort Wayne is home to the nation’s largest public genealogy collection? Located a block from the Grand Wayne Convention Center, within the Allen County Public Library.

Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center (outdoor mall) – Located less than 4 miles from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Johnny Appleseed Park – This Park is named in honor a grower, wandering missionary, and friend to all who knew him, John Chapman, a man known throughout national folklore as Johnny Appleseed. Johnny’s modest final resting place can be found atop a natural mound, the last resident of what was once the Archer Family Cemetery. Located 4 miles from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Museum of Art – You will find exhibitions of American fine and decorative art from the nineteenth century to the present, including exhibitions exploring the cross-cultural connections between artwork and artists from diverse ethnic and national backgrounds. Parkview Field – The TinCaps are the minor league class A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. They will host home games each night of our Jurisdictional Conference, with fireworks Th, Fri, Sat. The TinCaps boast 2 former players in the 2019 World Series in Washington Nationals’ Trea Turner and Joe Ross. Located across the street from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Promenade Park – This brand new park offer trails along the water, a treetop canopy trail, kid’s canal, riverboat cruise or kayak rental. Located 6 blocks (.6 mile) from the Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Three Rivers Festival July 10-18, 2020 –The Three Rivers Festival draws nearly half a million visitors each summer that come together to have some fun, savor tasty treats, and enjoy the concerts and entertainment! The Festival strives to keep events at a free or minimal admission fee to keep the festival accessible to the community. Three Rivers Festival offers everything from food to fun – Food Alley, Art in the Park, the Bed Race, the Three Rivers Festival Parade, Trivia Night, Children’s Fest, and so much more!
